The Inaugural READ Gala

Please join us for the READ Project Inaugural Fundraising Gala, an inspiring evening dedicated to supporting the mission of the READ Project by expanding access to education and supporting the next generation of leaders. The Gala will take place at 1150 22nd St NW on September 18, 2026 at 6:30 PM (EST) at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington DC.
Guests will enjoy an evening featuring a VIP cocktail hour and silent auction of items from regions around the world. Guests will then enjoy a delicious dinner and evening program emceed by talented attorney and comedian, Yasmine Elhady, while listening to stories from our scholars and remarks by our founder.
The night will conclude with an opportunity to invest in a successful and supportive future for emerging scholars.
